Co-Founder Love Legacy Dignity
Words from the person who nominated Mapi:
I met Mapi in 2021 when I was a delegate on one of the Love Legacy Dignity Courses called Finishing Strong. Her journey of understanding the end of life, through her personal journey, led to her and Helena Dolny writing a book and equipping individuals with the skills to finish strong.
Longevity is a mega trend impacting life for all of us. We asked Mapi what this means to her and what she does to impact change in this field of work:
At Love Legacy dignity we believe that if people live by design, they can finish strong. We offer live affirming conversations that equip people with necessary skills to face their mortality. Living by design requires one to be intentional about love choices, the legacy you want to leave, about loving ourselves and loving others as well as gaining more peace of mind about our state of affairs.
Love Legacy Dignity
Love Legacy Dignity aspires to playing an advocacy role for shifts in society in terms of the health insurance industry and the legal framework as well as supporting the ethos of patient’s rights.
Love Legacy Dignity works with individuals with its focus on fostering conversations that enhance how we choose to live and transform how we engage with the ongoing presence of our inevitable mortality.
Early discussions about death and dying lead to more patient empowerment, as they improve their health literacy – regarding their end-of-life choices. It helps them give informed consent on what they would like their Medical Proxies and health specialist to do for them when they can no longer speak for themselves
